What roofing materials do you offer?

At Caruzo's Roofing, we offer a wide range of roofing materials to suit both residential and commercial properties, including asphalt shingles, metal roofing, tile roofs, wood shakes, and more. We work with all roofing materials to meet the specific needs and preferences of our clients.

Do I need to be home when the roof is being installed?

No, it’s not necessary for you to be home during the roof installation. However, we do ask that you ensure there is clear access to your driveway for our equipment and materials. We’ll handle the rest!

How long does a roof replacement take?

The length of time a roof replacement takes depends on the size and complexity of the roof. Typically, Caruzo's Roofing completes the job in 3 days to one week. Larger roofs may take longer, but we always strive for efficiency while maintaining the highest quality of work.

Does my roof need 15-pound felt or 30-pound felt?

The choice between 15-pound felt and 30-pound felt depends on your roof's needs.

  • The 15-pound felt is lighter and more cost-effective, suitable for mild weather and basic protection.

  • The 30-pound felt is thicker and stronger, offering better durability and moisture resistance, ideal for harsher climates and long-term roof protection.

At Caruzo’s Roofing, we recommend 30-pound felt for superior performance and durability, especially in the Bay Area’s diverse weather.

What is the warranty on the materials and labor?

We offer 8 years of warranty on labor and a lifetime warranty on materials. This ensures that your new roof is covered for any workmanship issues as well as material defects, providing you with long-term peace of mind.

What happens if it rains while my roof is being replaced?

If rain occurs during your roof replacement, Caruzo’s Roofing takes necessary precautions to protect your home. We use waterproof tarps to cover exposed areas of the roof, ensuring no water leaks into your home. We also monitor weather conditions closely to minimize any disruptions and make sure the job resumes as soon as possible.

Do we handle clean-up and disposal of the old roof?

Yes, Caruzo’s Roofing manages all the clean-up and disposal of the old roof. We bring our own dumpster truck to collect all roofing debris. After removal, we transport everything to the San Francisco or Half Moon Bay waste disposal sites. We ensure that your property is left clean, with no leftover nails or roofing materials.
